Interactive conference / workshop with 300+ participants at Işıkkent Eğitim Kampüsü, Izmir

What an amazing time I had at the Early Childhood and Primary Years Conference: Building Inclusive Classrooms with UDL on March 8th, 2025 at Işıkkent Eğitim Kampüsü, Izmir, Turkey!

Over two amazing days, I had the opportunity to connect with 300+ passionate educators from across Turkey, all dedicated to making learning more inclusive, engaging, and accessible through Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Day 1 was a dynamic, interactive conference in an auditorium setting, filled with inspiring discussions and shared commitments to transforming classrooms.

Day 2 was a wonderful opportunity to put the foundations of Day 1 into practice as we developed authentic planners that can be implemented immediately. This hands-on approach truly brought the learning to life, as educators designed their next teaching opportunities to ensure inclusivity through choice and student agency.

A huge thank you to Evrim Yalcin, the PYP Coordinator, for organizing such an incredible event and bringing so many like-minded educators together to collaborate and learn. Your hard work and dedication made this experience unforgettable!
