IB African Education Festival in Kigali, Rwanda 14 – 15 February 2025, themed “Leading and Learning in Africa”.
The African Education Festival invites thought leaders to discuss current educational trends, explore innovative practices, and capture key developments in educational leadership and learning.
This year's theme is designed for policymakers, administrators, principals, heads of schools, and leaders of educational institutions across the region. The event aims to:
Enhance the capacity of educational leaders
Share global best practices in education
Improve teaching and learning within schools
Foster dialogue and networking among education leaders
The event is being hosted by Greenhills Academy and I am delighted to be delivering a general session on the 15th, entitled : Creating Inclusive Learning Environments Through Universal Design for Learning.
Participants will explore how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles can transform classrooms into inclusive spaces where every student can thrive. Educators will learn how to implement UDL to address diverse learning needs through practical strategies and real-world examples. This session will provide actionable insights to foster equity, accessibility, and success for all learners.
