My recent visit to Qatar Foundation (EDI) as one of the Field Representatives (FR)
My recent visit to Qatar to support the IB workshop leaders as one of the Field Representatives, was an incredibly enriching experience. The active engagement of educators and leaders from diverse contexts exemplified their dedication to advancing meaningful practices within their schools and communities. The discussions and collaborative learning were dynamic, reflecting a shared commitment to growth and excellence.
The workshop leaders displayed exceptional facilitation skills, creating a safe, engaging, and thought-provoking environment. Their ability to guide discussions with clarity, empathy, and expertise was truly inspiring and left a lasting impact on all participants.
This remarkable event was made possible by the outstanding organisational efforts of Martin, Joanna, and Sarah at EDI, whose meticulous planning and thoughtful coordination ensured every aspect of the workshops ran seamlessly. Their support allowed both facilitators and participants to focus entirely on the learning experience.
This visit reinforced the power of collaboration and the profound impact that well-facilitated professional development can have on educational communities. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful initiative.
